The Ravinos
The Beginning: The Ravinos was an "organization" that was born on the mid west; however, they grew up in Vail, CO in the early 1970's.
These adrenalin seeking rebels, dawning cut-off jean jackets in motorcycle gang fashion, would huck their inverted carcasses off cliffs and kickers. The Ravinos started the freestyle revolution; they were some of the first extreme skiers ever known.
Ski resorts went as far as to take dynamite to cliffs
where the Ravinos held their famous St. Patrick's Day parties. Because of the Ravinos, Vail banned inverted jumping and the Ravinos from the mountain.
We are the skeletons in Vail's closet.
The Ravinos may have taken a 20 year break from the limelight, but we are still here. Even though some have left us, may they rest in peace; their memory lives on as a Ravino.

Today: Are the Ravinos just about skiing? Not today. Many sports have captured the attention of our riders. We crave any sport that challenges the norm. The Ravinos are for those who have the itch to ride, ride anything - skis, boards, bikes, snowmobiles, motorcycles...... People that wake up in the morning wanting, wanting more: wanting to go shred, wanting to huck themselves, wanting the freedom the outdoors provides. Ravinos live for the love of the sport, the adrenalin, and the addiction.
